“I started using Cadham Pharmacy Health Centre after I saw how well my brother Johnny was doing with his Asthma and he recommended Berni and the clinic. I was impressed by the care I have received and was shocked at my FeNO reading. I am fit and healthy but my lungs were very inflamed at a record reading of 242 and normal is 0-25. Berni is a prescriber and was able to sound my chest and do other tests. She prescribed me medication that has changed my life.

My reading is coming down and is now under 100 just after a few weeks. I no longer have a runny nose and my asthma is no longer triggered by dogs which is great. I booked in to get review appointment on the Cadham Healthera app which is so simple to use. “Since using Cadham Pharmacy for my Asthma Medicication, they have made it so easy. The HEALTHERA App is a game changer when I need my Emergency blue inhaler . The Pharmacy have worked with my medical practice in Aberdeen to get a seriel CMS prescription. Every 8 weeks I get a code to pick up my life saving preventer inhaler. It is automatic and the service is outstanding.

The Asthma Clinic HAS TRANSFORMED my life and i am no longer scared of having a life threatening Asthma attack. I got many tests including a state of the Art FeNO test that convinced me to take better care of my Asthma and I now no longer rely on my emergency blue inhaler and take my preventer every single day. Its just a habit now.

If I get a chest infection I can book an appointment online easily and choose a time that suits me and when my Pharmacist is available. It is so much easier than the doctors surgery so i use the clinics if I get a chest infection or my asthma is flaring up now too.

My 2 sons Jack and Kalib Stanton as you know they both have asthma and Kalib has really bad eczema both were on blue and brown inhalers, Salbutamol and Pulmicort. These were prescribed by GP at North Glen Medical over the years they were both highly dependent on these inhalers and Kalib was put on all different kinds of steroid cream which were to no avail. Both were seeing nurse at asthma clinic and told the same thing every time; take inhalers as and when required. Just when we thought things wouldn’t get any better I happened to have Jack and Kalib with me at Cadham Pharmacy. Here I was voicing my concerns and was actually quite distressed that was when Berni asked us to come in to a private office. At first hand, Kalib looked dreadful, lacklustre and lifeless. Jack also no life wheezing etc Berni told us about revlar and with all her support, time and patience she has pretty much turned our world upside down. Jack and Kalib have never looked back since Berni came into our lives. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her, we owe her everything. I wanted to let everyone know that what she does for her community is outstanding she goes above and beyond her call of duty and I would not and do not trust anyone else with my sons and my own lives so a massive thank you Bernadette Brown you are our hero ♥️♥️

After being away to the south west of Scotland for a break I was the banquet for horseflies resulting bites that turned infected. I had been to Cadham before for something similar and decided to go this time for some advice. They were absolutely brilliant and managed to see me that day and was able to start a course of antibiotics the same day. The advice and service was first class and would recommend to anyone to use this pharmacy even if its slightly further for you to travel, it is well worth it as all the staff are amazing, friendly and very helpful. I have since left my closest pharmacy and registered with Cadham.

Great pharmacy for prescription services. Never have a long wait for a one-off script or can collect from the robots at any time of the day. The chronic medication service is so helpful, saves my from running out accidentally (which I used to do frequently.!).
This is by no means the handiest pharmacy for me to use but I go out of my way to continue doing so as I know I will always get support and advice here if I need it.

Excellent service. We got kick out of the airport as a antigen test was not enough to get us home, we needed a PCR-test. We asked Berni if she could make this ASAP in the night so we could catch the next plane in the morning. This was no trouble for Berni. She got us tested and gave us the certificate very fast and we could fly again. 10/10 will use again. Excellent service!!

What a fabulous place! Excellent service. My husband has long term medical issues and used to find it difficult to get to the pharmacy to collect prescriptions. Not anymore, the 24/7 dispensing robots mean he gets a message on his phone and can collect them even out of hours and with the CMS service he can get repeat prescriptions whenever he needs them without having to wait for his doctor to approve them. Can’t praise Bernie and her team highly enough for all they have done for the community. If only everything had the same level of professionalism and service, 10/10.

Fantastic service. Stepped-in to provide an Antigen test at 5 minutes notice after another local pharmacy failed to fulfil a pre-booked appointment at the very last minute. The front-of-house staff were friendly, knowledgeable and efficient and were able to register me within a couple of minutes. Hi my name is Wilma. Have been on steroids for four days and inhalers for my asthma. Today I was no better and thought I also had a chest infection. Was worried that I wad have to wait till Monday and try to get an emergency Dr app. I phoned Bernadette at Cadham Pharmacy and she said I could come straight down. She sounded my chest. Gave me a new inhaler. Showed me how to get the best from my inhaler. Already I feel so much better. The service I got from her was second to none. Berni, now that winter is over I can feel confident in saying that this has been Jamie’s best winter since he was born in relation to his asthma.

We can’t thank you enough for this and for all your help and support. You are so good with him and you put a lot of your time into explaining his condition to him and how important it actually is for him to in your words “own it”.

Your time and commitment to Jamie is invaluable and I hope that many more people can be helped by you and your Feno machine. The peak flow meter is the only test he’s had up to this point and I really feel it made a difference for him to see the numbers on the screen of the FeNo machine. Then to see them reduce with the change of meds and correct usage off inhalers was just more encouraging and really helped in his control of his asthma.

It’s been a difficult time for everyone but the threat of covid is especially worrying when you already have a respiratory condition so your continued support during all this is much appreciated.

I have just literally got back from my son’s asthma review where he got the FeNo Test. I knew that he had been struggling with this asthma but it was shocking to discover how bad it actually is. I cannot thank Berni enough. She literally is a life saver. If you or your child have asthma you really need to go see her. She has changed all his meds and he will be re-tested in a month. Through the last year and a half and under trying circumstances for the general public the staff of the Pharmacy have dealt with and overcome the hardships, restrictions and general hassle with professional attitudes and a smile, ( well it looked like a smile from behind the masks)!
