Video Appointments with the Cadham Team
COVID19 has dramatically changed the way that we live and interact with each other. We are all becoming more aware of the devastating effect that the pandemic has had on our communities and the importance of keeping socially distanced and safe is once again becoming more apparent. In times like these leaving the house to go shopping or to simply visit the pharmacy may seem extremely daunting but we don’t want you to feel this way. Cadham Pharmacy are here to support and protect you at all times and we are doing this by offering pharmacy appointments via video call.
How does this work?
Video calling is a convenient and safe way of attending your appointment. The system is easy to use and all of your appointments can be done in the safety of your own home.
Instead of travelling to our pharmacy for your appointment you can now book to have your appointment online. Once you have booked your appointment you will be sent an emailing containing the link to your video call.
What you will need
You will need the following to be able to make/join the call:
– A device that allows you to make video calls such as a smartphone, laptop or tablet.
– A reliable internet connection with good speed.
– A private and well lit area for your consultation – an area where there are no disturbances is preferable.
– We advise that you use the latest version of Chrome, Safari or Microsoft Edge for the best video calling quality.
How to join the call
When you are ready to join the appointment simply click the link in the email or simply go tohttps://nhsattend.vc/nhsf/cp – when you are ready to join the call click on the ‘start video call button.’
The system will check that you have everything in place. if asked, allow your browser to access your camera and microphone.
Simply enter your details, tick the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions and start your call! Simply, easy and convenient.

Is it secure and confidential?
Yes! You have your very own private video room that only authorised providers can enter. In your case it will be one of our lovely team members from Cadham pharmacy. No information discussed or entered into the platform is stored and calls are not recorded ensuring your data and our personal discussion remains private.
How much do pharmacy video appointments cost?
The video is free except for your own internet usage. We recommend that you connect to wifi to avoid using your mobile data.
How much internet data will I use
Once the call connects, our system uses a similar amount of data to Skype, Zoom or Facetime.
What if i need medication?
We understand that some of our patients may need medication following their appointment, luckily with the Cadham Robots we can ensure contactless collection of medication.
