Vaginal Dryness occurs when the vagina is less lubricated than normal and this can cause pain and discomfort. The most obvious cause of vaginal dryness is menopause, however, breastfeeding and some contraceptive tablets can also lead to an imbalance in hormones hence dryness in the vagina.
